A blue recycling can has been placed outside of the new building in a supposed effort to boycott ‘The Giving Tree’, which is a wire structure that collects cans and bottles. Students can take them to a recycling center in exchange for five cents a bottle or can in order to raise money for clubs.

Today at SDA, the seniors had their third senior java of the year during homeroom. The students all grabbed a cup of coffee, munched on bagels, and mingled. Some may say this was a proper celebration for the seniors who fulfilled their college application deadlines for the Cal State and UC schools.
