ROP Screen Printing teacher, Caroline Cesena, attended the 1974 California Jam in Ontario, California. California Jam, also known as Cal Jam, was the last of the original wave of rock festivals. It was headlined by Deep Purple and included the Eagles, Black Sabbath, and Earth, Wind, and Fire in its lineup. The festival, which took place at the Ontario Speedway, is best known for setting the record for the loudest amplification system of its time, and being the most well-executed and financially successful of any of the original rock festivals.
