One reason could be that she’s an enigma, a grand mystery that none of you are worthy of gazing upon. Another possibility is that she’s actually a Weeping Angel. Or that the time turner around her neck is broken, meaning she can’t go back in time and re-pose (or alter any of her life decisions to become a crazy swing-dancing-snow-loving-flute-playing-science-obsessed-fantasy-enthusiast who enjoys flying her Cessna through rings of fire).
Else, the answer could simply be that she’s a socially awkward nerd who’s much more scared of you than you are of her.
