This year’s winter formal will take place Feb. 7 from 8 p.m. until 11:30 p.m., at the Natural History Museum in Balboa Park. The theme will be “ancient allure” in honor of the King Tut exhibit visiting San Diego. Students will be able to view an incredible recreation of king Tut’s burial chamber, as well as several other exhibits throughout the museum.

According to ASB teacher Rod Keillor, students will have access to three of the four stories of the museum, including the roof-top and the exhibits. The dance shall include photo booths, a chocolate fountain, live music, and D.J. Julian, the same D.J. from the homecoming dance.

Tickets go on sale in January and will cost between $39 and $55, depending on when the ticket is bought and if one has an ASB sticker. All students are welcome to join in and visit the venue, said Keillor.
