Incumbents Re-Elected for School Board

Incumbent candidates Joyce Dalessandro and Beth Hergesheimer were re-elected to the San Dieguito school board last night over three challengers — Republicans Lucile Lynch and Randy Berholtz, and independent Bob Nascenzi.

Both incumbents each received just over 30 percent of 70,000 votes cast in the race, according to the San Diego County Registrar’s office, and no other candidate received more than 15 percent.

“I look forward to conversations with all of my friends and family, but saying a quick thank you to everyone for the support you gave me (and Joyce) in so many ways,” said Hergesheimer on Facebook.
