Here at SDA, March 14th was a day of social protest and students milling about campus in preppy attire for this wednesday of spirit week. Yet, we can’t forget what else today is, 3-14-18, or in other words, Pi Day. At lunch in front of the new building, students competed in pie eating contests, decorated cookies, threw pies at their desired teachers (with consent), were tattooed with temporary Pi symbols, and rattled off as many digits as they could of the number in order to receive a buy one get one (BOGO) Chipotle coupon.

Fun filled, and sweet, Pi Day at SDA was a hit.
