And the winners are…

The results for the ASB student elections came in today with junior Amelia Kaiser winning the presidency and junior Julia Fumo being elected to the office of vice president. Winners of other executive offices were also announced with the new secretary being junior Jamie Cruz and the position of treasurer going to freshman Ethan Fitzgerald. 

Current juniors Jordan Daniels, Sydney Jirsa, and Bella Meyer won the position of senior directors for next school year and sophomores Juliana Tecotsky, Piper Bailey, and Troy Zevin will be the next junior directors. In addition, the new sophomore directors will be freshmen Bella Goodwin, Cassie Miller, and Ella Decking.

When asked about what plans Kaiser has for her term as president next year, she said, “I just really want to make SDA a positive environment for people to feel happy and belong.” Although she did not disclose any specifics for her plans, she continued, “My biggest thing is personal connection with the individual. From there then we can establish a sense of community.”
