San Dieguito baseball advances to CIF after ten years

San Dieguito Academy baseball will advance to the CIF after winning 3 to 4 against Mission Vista in the Avocado East League on June 3.
Senior Jack Hostetler was the starting pitcher for the first four innings, and Senior Rylan Wade pitched innings five, six, and seven. The team got all four of the runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
The team describes this as a special moment because they started the year 2 to 8 and have not won the league since the 2011-2012 school year. The baseball team successfully finished off the year with 16 to 12 since overcoming such adversities.
