Ginger Shots: They’re healthy.

Who wouldn’t want to start off their mornings drinking shots? Shots of ginger that is. Now, according to ancient Ayurvedic medicine, ginger is marked a “natural medicine chest”– now that already seems pretty intense. Ginger shots have become more popular based on their safe, organic properties that help cleanse the body. This blend of an all-natural product may just be what people need, especially in the morning when preparing for a big day ahead.

To start, what most people dread daily is the act of needing to wake up early and get out of bed. According to “10 Healing Benefits of Ginger,” the way it may boost energy and overall productivity is that it can increase the function of the circulatory system, allowing blood to move more freely throughout the body. This is what all non-morning people need, desperately. Drinking ginger in the morning can even spark up an appetite, just what students and adults alike need to start their days off strong. Drinking ginger can become the mark of a whole new you.
Next, those that suffer from indigestion or stomach problems may benefit from drinking ginger shots prior to eating, since it speeds up the emptying of the stomach. “Ginger shots are extremely beneficial for the digestive tract and offer a great support for the gut colony of friendly bacteria,” said Ken Silvers in his Probiotic Center article.

The true source of the inspiring benefits from this root comes from a substance inside of ginger, known as gingerol. Jessica Heg in her article, “The Only Ginger Shot Resource You Will Ever Need,” explains that gingerol is the main active ingredient that holds the key to many of ginger’s overarching benefits. This elixir can act as a muscle pain reliever since it works to alleviate pain caused from soreness or other active endeavors. This can be perfect for runners and people who engage in physical activity daily. Ginger can also act as an anti-inflammatory since it may reduce much joint pain and stiffness.

But in all honesty, I’ve haven’t tried a ton of ginger shots until recently. It’s actually kind of good, but it also burned my throat. But only for a second. Sure it has a specific taste but it’s something that I’m sure anybody can get used to. If it’s healthy what’s stopping us from always drinking it?
