Girls Field Hockey: SDA vs Valley Center

The SDA varsity field hockey team lost to Valley Center 1-2 yesterday.
SDA junior Kate Cusick scored first, giving the Mustangs a 1-0 lead. Cusick also came close to an assist when she dribbled up the field and made a hard cross to her teammate.
The Mustangs kept the lead until Valley Center scored tying it up 1-1.Twenty-seven minutes into the second half, Valley Center scored again with the final score of 2-1.
The JV team pulled through with a win 3-0 against Valley Center.
