Thick Seams, Gummy Shoes, and Plastic Tags

Among the many things that drive me half mad are socks with thick seams, gum on shoe bottoms, people walking through my imaginary horse, and, most of all, imbedded clear plastic tag fasteners.

The same way that thick sock seams make me squirm around uncomfortably in my chair unable to focus on anything else, I cannot sleep at night knowing that there are little bits of clear plastic tag fasteners trapped in my things.

Nothing pains me more than cutting off a tag and leaving behind a plastic parasite in my beloved new teddy bear or snuggly jacket lining. It sickens me just to know there are plastic worms infesting my beloved friends. No tag left behind, I say!

Today I finally recovered a plastic tag fastener end from my jacket. I felt such a sense of relief knowing that it was finally out of my jacket (at the expense of the lining, now sporting a small hole). Now I can breathe a bit more easily and focus on calculus homework and other important things like college apps and scraping gum off of the bottoms of my shoes.
