The question that has been lingering for viewers of The Walking Dead since half-way through last season is, “Where is Beth?”  Well, it was finally revealed in Sunday’s installment.

This episode, like some in season four, redirected the storyline completely and focused the entire hour on a different plot that was left untouched a season ago.  After Beth Greene was kidnapped in season four, the story continued on with the main characters, leaving what happens to Beth to be resolved at a later time.  Well that time is now.  Last night’s episode highlighted a strange group of people, unlike anything that has been done before in the apocalypse.  This group brings people in to their hospital that they have barricaded up with defenses from the Walkers.  They seem to only bring in people that are in some type of critical medical condition however, and they save them.  Once they are treated, the people that at the hospital guilt trip them into working to pay off the medical attention that they owe.  Some of the people that are working at the hospital have been held there for years.  Beth finds a like-minded ally, and together they attempt to break free from the sadistic society that they have been forcefully put into.

It leaves off with a thrilling ending that, like every other episode this season, opens up many exciting possibilities for next week.
